An opportunity exists for a skilled, experienced, resourceful
Operations Manager, based in Lisdoonvarna. Co. Clare. Lisdoonvarna
Fáilte CLG own and manage a number of facilities in Lisdoonvarna
including:

* The Pavilion Town Hall

floodlight Astro Turf and Community Pitch
* A Multi-Use Games Area (currently in development)
* The Spa Wells heritage complex and Twin wells area
* The North Clare Community Park and Woodland trail.
Lisdoonvarna Fáilte CLG is a non-profit social enterprise that
manages more than * acres of community-owned
assets and facilities in the Lisdoonvarna area of North Clare. LF is
governed by a voluntary Board of Directors under the **Apply on the

Property and employs * Members of Staff
supported by Pobal funding and Community Services Programmes.
We wish to hire a dedicated General manager to fulfill the role of
managing the existing facilities, driving fundraising and revenue
generating activities throughout the year and managing the resources
available to us. We are currently funded by a number of different
sources. These need to be managed and developed. A key element of the
role will be to develop the facilities, find new sources of income,
maintain the standards, build community and build strong relationships
with other local organisations, government stakeholders like Clare
Local Development Company, Clare County Council, LEADER, Pobal, Solas
and more. The role is broad, carries a lot of responsibility, and is
constantly challenging.

The facilities are used on a weekly basis by over **Apply on the
website** people from every aspect of live, supporting groups, sports
clubs, fundraisers, meetings and more.
This requires a great deal of coordination. We also need to continue
to promote and market our services. We need to engage with community
groups and seek out additional ways to ensure that the company remains
viable at all times.
The role we wish to fill would co-ordinate all activities, market all
services, recruit and coordinate volunteers, communicate with all
parties wishing to use the facilities, maintain the accounts working
with our accountant and ensure that any services booked are paid for.
In many instances groups and sports associations use the facilities on
an ongoing weekly basis and many of these are already in place.
Our organisation receives funding for Pobal for this position and we
need to ensure full compliance with Pobal at all times.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
* Excellent Verbal & Written communication skills
* Excellent IT Skills including letter writing, spreadsheet
management, email management
* Social Media experience and exposure
* Co-ordination skills
* Ability to work on own initiative within an agreed set of criteria
